I’m Nici, an Irish artist living and creating right here in Limerick, on the west coast of Ireland. My studio is actually my converted attic, which is pretty cool because it means I’m always surrounded by my art!
Art has always been my jam, ever since I was a kid with a sketchbook glued to my hand. I even dreamed of going to Art College, but life took a different turn (Computer Science in UL, anyone?).
For a while, I put down the brushes, but guess what? Art has a way of calling you back. A few years ago, I started painting again, and it’s become my happy place. My paintings capture the beauty of our west coast, from dramatic seascapes to charming Limerick cityscapes. When I am painting I am in my flow.
